QLD Suns invited to Netball Queensland State Titles

The Queensland Suns Men's & Mixed Netball Association (QLD Suns) have been invited to participate in the U18's division, at the Netball Queensland Nissan State Titles.

They are to be held on 20, 21 & 22 September 2020 at Nissan Arena. This is the first time that an all-boys team have been invited to compete in this event.

The President of QLD Suns, Steven Curr, said that "this is an incredible moment for the QLD Suns. This is our chance to visibly demonstrate the skills and exceptional talent that exists within Men's Netball. The QLD Suns are very excited that our boys have been afforded this opportunity so that they can test their ab ilities against the best girls in the state, in addition to showcasing the depth of their skills, their love of the sport and playing at Nissan Arena to new audiences".

The invitational team will be coached by Tammy Holcroft and Mario Ryder. Tammy said that "this is an amazing opportunity for our boys to be invited to compete in this event. Whilst this is an invitational team, all these boys will be representing Queensland in either the U17's or U20's division at the Australian Men's Mixed Netball Championships in Adelaide next year. Playing in these titles is the perfect way to kick-start our 2021 campaign”.

The QLD Suns would like to thank Netball Queensland for their support and providing us with this opportunity.

We wish the boys and all the teams the best of luck.
